San Diego, California, October 18, 2017— With millions of plug-in electric vehicles in use worldwide, demand for workplace charging solutions is experiencing enormous growth and ON World is seeking participants to guide a research investigation into this opportunity. “Today, tens of thousands of enterprises are using Internet of Things platforms to streamline operations, automate processes, reduce costs and to provide enhanced services to retain employees,” said Mareca Hatler, ON World’s research director. “Energy management continues to be a major IoT adoption driver and in the next few years there will be millions of electric vehicles that will be integrated in workplace IoT systems.” Technology driven workers are purchasing plug-in electric vehicles and many enterprises are investing in on-site charging to retain these employees.
